These terms and conditions form a part of the Website Terms & Conditions to which you are required to agree in order to access and use our Website.
Only registered users may place orders and purchase Products via the Website.
Products and Availability
As a small business with limited funding, in order to offer a wide range of items we order books on request and keep a minimal amount in stock. As a result majority of the books listed on our page are available on backorder (available to order from our supplier). Please check the availability of products before ordering by directly contacting us to avoid any disappointment.
Lead times for items are as follows:
- US Import: 4-6 weeks
- UK Import: 4 weeks
- Suppliers Warehouse: 1 week
- In Stock: shipped on the closest weekend
If we cannot fulfill an order due to diminished stock, a book being out of print or listing inaccuracy we will notify you.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. The prices of books fluctuate in accordance to the rand/dollar.
Availability
All books are available to order, unless labelled ‘out of stock’. However, a book, especially a special edition / exclusive edition / collector’s edition / first print may become unavailable at any time during the process of ordering, however you will be notified and refunded / compensated accordingly.
Returns Policy
According to the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you have the right to cancel your purchase without giving a reason. You may choose to receive either a credit to your account or a refund, minus the cost of returning the product, by submitting a return request on the Website within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the product, unless the product falls under any of the following categories:
1. Products intended for everyday consumption;
2. Personalized items or those made to your specifications;
3. Unsealed eBooks, digital downloads, DVDs, CDs, or other audio/video recordings, or software;
4. Books, newspapers, periodicals, or magazines.
Damaged Items
FAEBEL Bookstore is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during transit by the chosen courier. However we will try our best to assist you. Please read the chosen courier’s Terms and Conditions before use. All books are packaged in a box and stuffing is used to ensure its safety. The only exception to a box being used is for single or small books, which are wrapped with multiple layers of bubble wrap instead.
Insurance can be added to any shipment if you are concerned about its safety during transit.
The only exception to this rule is if a book has a defect that is due to the publisher such as loose pages, binding glue peeling off et cetera. In which case, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt and we will try our best to assist you.
